The Maika Metals foundation stone was laid by Mr.Thoufiq Sultan (S/o of Mr.Kamal Basha) in 2009.In initial stage , the company was used as a logistic center for M/s Modern Steel Industries.He ventured into this business to serve the automobile industries with Press metal and Fabrication components in 2010
S.Kamal Basha is the founder of all units with KAMAL STEEL CORPORATION as the mother concern, Est in 1982.He has 35 yrs experience in Sheet metals industries .He started Modern Steel Industries as a steel service center in 1993 in Manali Road, Chennai.He started HR pickling Plant on 2011 with a capacity of 10,000 tons per month, we are second in South India to incorporate the facilities.M/s Kamal Steel Corporation is the authorized dealer of JSW, trading around 3500 Tons/month and having a reserve stock of 5000 Tons.
Mr. Thoufic Sultan (S/o of Mr. Kamal Basha), the MD with his ample knowledge in the latest technology, to his credit has appended many blue-chip companies to the Maika's Clientele list. To guarantee and meet high standards with the requirements of the clients, the procurement and administrative front is dynamically led by Mr. Mohamed Kashif (son in law of Mr. Kamal Basha).
Modern Steel Industries is a Steel Service Center established in 1993, the total area of the plant occupies around 6 acres which employs around "250 labors" and 25 staffs. The total valuation of the plant is around 150 crores
